Reflection:
I have always shown an interest in the field of psychology since I was a child. Over the years I have done my own research whether it was for research papers or just to keep up on recent findings. When applying to colleges, I knew that I wanted to study something regarding the brain. So, when applying to High Point University I listed my major as Pre-Medicine: Psychology. I was a bit hesitant about majoring in psychology. I knew I had an interest in it but I was afraid that I would want to switch to biology. However, once I began my Intro to Psychology course with Dr. Hundt I knew I chose the right major.

Dr. Hundt makes learning fun. Some professors are hard to follow, but Dr. Hundt is always cracking jokes and making the material fun to learn and definitely easier to remember. His teaching methods have also helped me learn how to study more efficiently for tests. Not to mention that his feedback on our assignments are encouraging and helpful. I can tell he is passionate about psychology as well, and I always enjoy staying after class to ask questions regarding the material. He has made this semester amazing and I can’t thank him enough for helping me realize I am definitely on the right path.
